Belize Is Paradise Sweepstake Winner Announced

The Lodge at Chaa Creek and Victoria House & Spa want to send a big vote of thanks to everyone who participated in making our “Belize Is Paradise Sweepstakes” a resounding success.

Baylea Moreira, from the US state of Indiana, is the grand prize winner of our 7-night, 8-day sweepstakes offering. When we called to congratulate her, Mrs Moreira replied “My husband and I are so excited that we cannot find the words to express ourselves. A trip to Belize is a dream come true for us both!”

Mrs Lucy Fleming, Chaa Creek’s co-founder said that the sweepstakes received over 23,000 views and saw participation from all over the USA. Mrs Fleming explained that the sweepstakes questionnaire was designed to gauge public perception about the activities, services and amenities offered by both Chaa Creek and Victoria House. Entrants were asked to answer 8 questions about both properties, either from personal experience or by combing through their respective websites for answers.

“It was so gratifying to reach over 23,000 persons, and to see that there is a high level of awareness about Belize.  It’s amazing how many international people now know about our country, especially when our initial byline was “Mother Nature’s Best Kept Secret,” as we first set foot upon the world stage of tourism merely three decades ago, she said.

When asked how she found the sweepstake, Ms Moreira said “I was searching for resorts in Belize using Google and came across Chaa Creek. I like to check companies out on Instagram in addition to browsing their website. And I found the sweepstake on Instagram!”.

“We are looking forward to all that we will discover and experience at these resorts in one of the most beautiful countries in the world! We are so thankful for Chaa Creek and Victoria House sponsoring this sweepstake and we cannot wait to plan this trip!” added Ms Moreira.

Ms Fleming said that both Chaa Creek and Victoria House are looking forward to introducing Ms Moreira and her partner to the beauty of Belize, and, given the success of this year’s Belize Is Paradise Sweepstake, Chaa Creek followers can look forward to more sweepstakes in the future.
