Deposit & Cancellation Policy
       at Chaa Creek 

We do require a deposit of 30% of the total amount, within 21 days, with full payment 45 days in advance of arrival.

A full refund minus $60 USD handling fee will be made on cancellations 60 days or more prior to the scheduled trip.  Cancellations 60 - 45 days in advance a 50% refund will be given.  Cancellations 45 days or less prior to arrival no refund will be given. 

No refunds will be given for unused hotel rooms, meals, sightseeing trips or tours for any reason whatsoever.  Land cost is quoted as a package and credits are not given for services not used.

Also note that The Lodge at Chaa Creek cannot guarantee that the fees price will not change since we have no control over these and we merely pay them as a service to our guests.

Please note that our exchange rate is $2.0 Belize dollars to one US dollar only for AMEX card charges that we must transact in Belize dollars. Thus we convert the amount you authorize to us to Belize dollars.  Your credit card company may have additional charges for foreign transactions.  There may be credit card, and BANK CHARGES/EXCHANGE RATE CHARGES added to the balance authorized for credit card charges. The best way to ensure exact payment, is to send payment by  check.
