My name is Alexander Fogel and my fiance Tara Norwood and I are getting married in August. We are a very deeply committed couple and can’t wait to get married. But because we are both students, we do not have much money to spend on a honeymoon. We could not think of a better wedding gift than to be able to spend our honeymoon in Belize at Chaa Creek.
We know of it’s reputation as a world-class resort and a great launching pad to explore the vibrant culture of Belize. We would love to spend our honeymoon touring Mayan ruins, snorkeling in the colorful reefs, exploring the great natural resources of the area, and interacting with the locals.As a future doctor I am fascinated by the rainforest and its application to medical purposes. I am a firm believer in rainforest conservation, and applaud the efforts of Chaa Creek to this end. I would relish the opportunity to learn about this spring of life firsthand.
Tara is a painter who focuses on floral themes. I know that she would be inspired by the natural beauty of Belize. The natural beauty of the wild jungle flowers, the majesty of the landscape, and the orange-cherry sunset dipping below the sparkling waters will be a source of creation for her that will last a lifetime.
We have also recently founded a charity called First Aid WorldWide that is devoted to delivering basic life-saving first aid supplies to under-served communities across the globe. Though the charity is very new, we have already connected aid packages to the needy in Ecuador and Haiti. We could think of nothing better than to combine our honeymoon with our dedication to serving the under-served and promoting access to first aid. We would be love to be able to spend part of our trip serving the needy in Belize!
