The Belize Zoo
There are many different places that you can visit when you travel to Belize. We can definitely help you find the Belize tours and experiences that you are looking for when it comes to eco-tourism, adventure travel or a visit to a Mayan temple. That said, sometimes when you are traveling with a family, you might also want to visit a zoo where you and your kids can get up close and personal with animals in a slightly more controlled environment.
This can be a great warm up as well for a trip or guide-led tour into the Belize rainforest too. Check out this great report from Nightline on the Belize Zoo, as well as a number of videos from visitors that have come to Chaa Creek and stopped at the zoo and other destinations along the way.
